Family Off-Road Adventures is looking for people to assist as sweep riders during events.
As a sweep rider we want people that:
- Are experienced off road motorcyclists with years of experience.
- Are friendly, helpful and know the meaning of “servant leadership”.
- Are innovative & imaginative problem solvers.
- Are self-supportive & low maintenance, possessing their own equipment & gear.
- Willing to become First Aid & CPR trained.
What we provide to sweep riders:
- Free ticket to the event.
- Free food during all event provided meals.
- 2-Way radios for event communication.
- Special access to team training sessions
Description:
Sweep riders ride with a partner and leave after all participants to ensure that arrive safely at each stop. If a participant has mechanical trouble or encounters a difficult section on the route, the sweep rider will assist to the best of their abilities. If an injured participant is encountered then the sweep rider will summon the appropriate medical assistance and render aid to the best of their abilities. Sweep riders are always friendly, professional and courteous.
