We primarily promote dual sport and adventure rides that include destination of historically significant and scenic beauty. You may visit destination such as Yosemite, The Mojave Desert, Death Valley or the Pacific Coast.

We have several adventures to choose from. We also provide customized adventures just for you and your group! See EVENTS for prices.

Most events are 2 days in length. Your memories and photos will last a lifetime.

Most events are capped at 150 participants.

We pride ourselves on choosing locations that offer the best food available. Food is one area where we do not cut corners! Lunches can come from restaurants or from our support vehicles serving a picnic style meal trail side.

Accommodations are not included in your event registration. Family Off-Road Adventures always bases events in the best locations available and you'll never be disappointed. See your event details page for information about our accommodation recommendations.

Typical off road riding apparel is required. We are very safety conscious and believe that the more protective gear the better. It's important to remember to pack light but feel free to bring anything that you require. In many cases we will be near stores so you can simple buy anything that you may have forgotten to bring. When you sign up for one of our adventures we'll supply you with a complete list of riding essentials and suggestions of what to bring.

Illegal drugs are always forbidden and alcohol is discouraged. If you are found in violation of our drug policies your adventure will be terminated. It's not worth it. We are a family adventure and drugs are not a part of that.

We have an excellent safety record and are extremely safety conscious. We have some rules of the road we expect all riders to obey and we always work together as a team to help each other stay safe. The reality is that we're dirt bike riding, people crash and its part of the experience. All staff use 2-way radios & cell phones to keep in touch with each other. We also provide a sweep riders and chase & support trucks. All of these actions are taken to help ensure your safety. It's only as dangerous as you make it. Ride within your ability and you'll be fine. It's not a race, it's a trail ride.

Yes. Most places that we travel to have cell phone coverage. Places without cell phone coverage may have pay phones or phones in the hotel rooms.

Absolutely.  Cash in small denominations works best and tip's for people that provide a service is always appropriate.

The weather may change dramatically and quickly anywhere that we ride. You could begin a day riding in the snow and only a few hours later be doing wheelie's on the beach. December through March are the most likely months for rain or snow. We never really know what the weather will be like until 5 - 7 days before each adventure.

Each rider is responsible for providing their own riding gear.  We believe in wearing the best safety equipment available. We LOVE to ride and know that if we get hurt then we'll not be able to ride for a while. This is one of our motivations for staying safe.

We are a family business in the business of serving families so we do not have an age limit for our rides.  All riders must abide by all applicable laws and we do have specification that each bike must meet. We are all about riding as a family and want to ensure that you have the opportunity to make this a family adventure.

We accommodate all levels of experience. At a minimum you need to be able to operate your own motorcycle and understand all of the controls, especially the brakes! Off road riding experience is useful but not necessary. We do our very best to group together riders of similar riding ability. It's always best if you bring a riding buddy! We want all of our guests to have a great time and not feel like they rode terrain that was too difficult.

We book on a first come, first serve basis. Your place on one of our adventures is reserved upon receipt of full payment.

Payments are non-refundable and must be used within one year. Your payment may be transferred to another event or person but must be used within one year from the original purchase date.

We accept all major credit cards via on-line payments through Pay-Pal.
